How to reach the target market; young, committed to sustainability, and looking for a long term supplier? They’re often online and it’s fair to say have seen and heard it all. Plus, they’re easily bored, so getting their attention requires real stand out – you don’t want to get lost amongst all the banners, films and photos.
Initially we held a Brand Accelerator (Merkversneller) session, from which we settled on the idea, ‘Green for one another’. We incorporated this concept into banners for Facebook and Instagram, video banners, short Youtube films and a new homepage. Plus used fresh, colorful photography featuring young, dynamic models. We connected the photos via a line; linking consumer energy (someone on a mobile, or wearing virtual reality glasses) with the energy supplier (someone with a solar panel). The copy simply reads. ‘Need energy? Ask someone else. Sharing 100% green energy, completes the circle’.
To be exact; 480,900 impressions, reaching 194,180 profiles plus a larger reach within the 25-35 and 35-44 age groups. We’re calling it ‘a great result’.
