'Re-using' a successful website design with new branding

Sustainable living can be easier and more accessible for every homeowner. Groene Hart Hypotheken is a completely new proposition that was recently launched, focusing on total advice for the mortgage and sustainability of the home at the same time. To make this launch known to a large audience, an effective website was needed in a short time.

The challenge

Groene Hart Hypotheken was created through the active cooperation of DAK Intermediairscollectief with Tulp Hypotheken and De Energiebespaarders. They believe that every Dutchman should be able to make his or her home more sustainable. With the mortgages they provide, they make sustainable living easier and more accessible for every homeowner. In this way Groene Hart Hypotheken helps our community to live more energy efficient.

The question for SowiesoHelder was to realize a website in a short time frame, which in the first place listed all the mortgage advisors. After all, they are the key to the right energy advice and can look at how the sustainability of homes can best be financed.

Because Groene Hart Hypotheken is a partnership with Tulp Hypotheken, for whom SowiesoHelder also designed the website, we were asked to use that successful website as a template and to ‘re-build’ it. To then customize it to the visual identity / branding of Groene Hart Hypotheken. In line with the idea behind the sustainable mortgages, the website also had to radiate sustainability.

The solution

SowiesoHelder created a new design based on Tulp Hypotheken’s website and adapted it to the new corporate identity of Groene Hart Hypotheken. We applied this design to the design of the WordPress website of Tulp Hypotheken. Compared to the original website, several small changes were made to ensure that all the content we wanted to post could be processed in the template. In addition, we also seized the opportunity to technically optimize the website so that it meets current standards again and the customer can get on with it for a substantial time.

The website also includes the Bespaarcheck as an iFrame. Through user management in the CMS it is arranged that the cooperating partners can always update their own part of the information, whether it is mortgage information, new sustainability improvements or current interest rates.

The result

In a short period of time a completely new website was built based on an existing website design. By giving it the branding of Groene Hart Hypotheken and implementing this in everything, the website has a totally different look than the original. In short: a successful launch of this new proposition on a website that can tell the sustainable story to anyone who’s interested in a ‘greener mortgage’. And soon after the launch of the website, the first Groene Hart Hypotheken have been issued. On to a sustainable Netherlands!
