KLM and Royal Schiphol Group aim to take the lead in further improving sustainability in the aviation industry. While the two partners have made significant headway in recent years in finding the right balance between people, planet and prosperity (the ‘triple bottom line’), they are not yet where they would like to be and feel the time has come for a meaningful and inclusive public debate.

Solution

As part of KLM’s Centennial celebrations, we organised the one-off unique event ‘Improving Sustainability in Aviation: From Dilemmas to Deeds’. The two-hour seminar, which was moderated by Rens de Jong, was attended by numerous distinguished representatives from the aviation and transport industries and the political class.

Results

Seminar attendees shared their knowledge and ideas, discussed opportunities and restrictions, and made plans together. In addition to providing all the facilities for this event, we were also responsible for directing and design, as well as producing the animations and videos. At the end of this dynamic and enlightening event, all stakeholders in attendance demonstrated their commitment by signing an engagement letter on the event stage.
