Our client DAK collective of intermediaries a cooperation with more than 1500 advisers, has come up with a new proposition: Binco. Financial advisers are invaluable to a healthy financial Netherlands. They deserve the time and space to do their work the way they want to. Binco is the solution for all those busy diaries: a ‘personal assistant’ who takes care of their administration and project management. From managing the mailbox and agenda to answering the phone, and from preparatory work to processing insurance policies.
In order to market Binco and make it known among financial advisers, there was a need for a strong and recognisable visual identity. SowiesoHelder’s digital team and design team were asked to jointly create a logo and translate this into a suitable visual identity that can be used for the website, digital communication tools and print documents.
We created a logo that would stand up well without the corporate identity colors, that is consistent with the core of the brand and that also strongly conveys what the brand stands for. We searched for a word picture consisting of the word ‘Binco’, a visually recognisable element and several main colors. Starting points were: Bold – Powerful – Challenging – Competitive – Supportive – Balance and quality. The client chose the final logo from several proposals that had slightly different accents. This logo was then further developed into a corporate identity. In addition to the logo, a color palette and the typography style, we also included the design for stationery, business cards and a Powerpoint template in the house style.
After the visual identity was completed, we translated it to a web design. The primary goal of the website is to inform the potential target group about Binco’s services and to convince interested financial advisors to contact Binco. Visually, the Binco corporate identity is clearly reflected in the color and font choice. The website was created entirely in WordPress, with the great advantage that the client can easily fill the predefined pages with content themselves. With that in mind, we built the website with flexible content blocks. Different types of text blocks, a rate block, a block with reviews etc. Very user-friendly.
Moreover, a WordPress website is easy to keep up-to-date. A client can build new pages with these content blocks or adapt/expand existing pages by adding or replacing content blocks. These blocks then automatically get the right look & feel and ‘only’ need to be filled with content. If desired, SowiesoHelder can also take care of that content – we do that for several clients – but the client can also fill the WordPress website himself.
That there was a need for a ‘personal assistant’ like Binco becomes clear when DAK, only two months after its launch, has already sold 30 subscriptions via the new website.
“For our new brand Binco, we were looking for a visual identity that radiates the ‘hero’ feeling. With its own logo, corporate identity and a website that appeals to financial advisors. Together with the digital team of SowiesoHelder we created a powerful brand in a short period of time. With results! By now more than 30 financial advisors have found their way to Binco’s services. We will continue the pleasant cooperation with the online team in future projects, including the renewal of our website DAK.nl.”
As is clear from this assignment for DAK/Binco, two expertises come together and blend nicely at SowiesoHelder: our digital team and design team regularly develop corporate identities and then translate them into (new) websites. If you have a challenge in that area, please contact us to see if we can help you further. Perhaps a WordPress website is something that can help your brand, organization and content team as well.
