SOLUTION

Through a targeted activation campaign, ING has been encouraging the use of shared payment requests. During the post-match pints at football games. We set the campaign up, thought up the theme and the way it would work, and provided all the small materials that the participating clubs would need.

IMPLEMENTATION

It was party time for a whole weekend. Anyone who bought a round in the clubhouse and shared their payment request with ING had a chance of getting the round paid for them. Paid for a round? It’s on ING!

How ING has been handling shared payment requests via the football-loving Netherlands. If you’re sharing out a payment in the Netherlands, there’s an app called Tikkie. But it can be even easier than that for ING customers, who have the shared payment request in their ING app as standard. On top of that, they get their cash back more quickly.
